The Zen Sekai Bujitsu Kyokai (Universal Martial Arts Association) is a known world wide as a leading martial arts organization that is dedicated to the preservation of traditional martial arts while embracing change and recognizing new systems and styles of martial arts from around the world. Membership is open to All Styles of Martial Arts and all Systems of Martial Traditions.

Carter-sensei is a lifetime member of the Zen Sekai Bujitsu Kyokai founded by Kyoshi Frank Williams. The Zen Sekai Bujitsu Kyokai are the United States representation for Hanshi Seifuku Nitta of Okinawa.

Through our links with the UMAA we have association with the Kensei Do-Ko-Kai (Okinawa Shorin Ryu Karate and Kobudo Kyokai) founded by a Hanshi Seifuku Nitta of Okinawa.

Hanshi Nitta studied under Grand Master Seiki Toma for 10 years and in 1992 was awarded his Judan after founding the Kensei Do-Ko-Kai.

In addition to being the founder of the Kensei Do-Ko-Kai, Hanshi Nitta serves as the Honorary Chairman of the Zen Sekai Bujitsu Kyokai (UMAA) International Board of Directors.

Carter-sensei has (friendship) affiliation to the Okinawan Ryu Karate-Do Seibukan - Japan. The Okinawa Ryu Karate-Do Seibukan Association follow the traditional ancestry of it's founders, teaching strong effective traditional Karate-Do with the utmost respect and purpose.
